Lakme Eyeconic kajal in the shade Classic Brown review

Hello everyone… How are you all? I am back with yet another kajal review but this time it is a brown kajal. I always use black kajal but someday when I want my eyes to have the soft definition I go for brown kajal. I generally line my eyes using a brown kajal, I usually use brown kajal as an eyeliner on my upper eyelids but not on my waterline. Purchasing a brown kajal was always on my list for two reasons; one I like to experiment with colors and two brown colors adds soft definition to Indian eyes.
Lakme brand doesn’t need any introduction as it is a famous brand in India, their makeup and skincare range is widely used all over India. Lakme has products both on the luxury range and budget range. I had tried their Regal green and Black shade from the range and this is my first time trying a brown kajal.

PACKAGING
It comes in a usual Lakme Eyeconic packaging which is quite classy. The product comes in a twist-up pencil packaging which makes it convenient to use and travel-friendly as well.
PRODUCT CLAIMS
No smudge
Waterproof
Dermatologically tested
It lasts up to 10 hours.
PRICE
Rupees 275 for 0.35g of quantity.

PIGMENTATION
Being on the drugstore side the Lakme Eyeconic classic brown is highly pigmented. I was really surprised by the pigmentation of this kajal. You get a beautiful brown opaque color in one swipe.
FORMULA
It has a smooth creamy texture that can be applied on the eyelids without any tugging on the skin. It goes well on the lower lid near waterline but it did not show up well on my waterline. I was disappointed because it did not show up well on my waterline.

MY EXPERIENCE
For the price I was expecting a lot more from Lakme, it does not smudge and it is not waterproof. It smudges easily on the eyelids when it is oily, I had applied powder on my eyelids and then I applied the kajal. This time the kajal lasted longer. On my eyelids, the kajal lasted for 5 to 6 hours easily so I was very happy.
If you want to use the product well then make sure you prep your eyelids before using them. Applying any matte compact will also help the kajal apply smoothly and last longer.
It did not show up on my waterline, even I tried using the kajal on my waterline with several swipes. It did show up on my waterline after many swipes but did not last after one hour. I have watery eyes, whenever I apply any product on my waterline my eyes tear duct produces tears.

PROS
Budget-friendly.
Easily available.
Travel-friendly.
Lasts well on the upper eyelids.
CONS
the kajal did not show up well on my waterline.
WILL I REPURCHASE?
I would prefer brown kajal from other brands which will show up on my waterline well.
I hope this review helped you guys see you all soon with another article.
