Hope you all are doing well. Today I am back with a review post as I am into experimenting new products now a days. The product which I am going review is very close to every Indian women heart. Yes. It is a kajal. Why? The drama, the rich darkness in the eyes which adds more dimension to the face as well as highlighting the eyes.
I love experimenting with kajal and I have recently finished up my lotus color click kajal and just jumped right into this kajal. I had previously used Maybelline collassal kajal and lakme eyeconic kajal as well. So I thought of giving this budget kajal a try.
Faces is one of the best affordable makeup brand in India. Their go chic lipsticks were my go to lip color in my college days.

Pigmentation
The kajal has nice pigmentation and gives jet black color in one swipe. I was pretty impressed with the pigmentation of this kajal.
Texture
The texture of this kajal is smooth and buttery, glides on my lower and upper lash line without any tugging and provides nice pigmentation.
Quality
This kajal has a slight smudging tendency and is perfect for smokey eye looks. It smudges when applied on my lower lash line but doesn’t give messy kajal look. It is better when applied on upper lash line.
My experience
I really love overall quality of this kajal pencil for affordable price. It gives jet black color and has creamy texture like mentioned in the packaging by faces ‘bold yet tender'. It gives bold color but with tender soft texture which glides on.
The kajal stays on my eyes for good 7 hours but it can smudge in between if you try to smudge it. This kajal is handy for creating smokey eye look. It smudges but doesn’t create panda eyes look. On my upper lash line it is better if you smudge the kajal within two minutes of application. After few minutes of application the kajal hardens and becomes smudge proof.
I personally like to apply kajal halfway on the lower lash line as full kajal in my lash line will exaggerate my dark under eye circles. I slightly pull my eyelids and apply the kajal on my upper lash line.
I tried setting it with brown eyeshadow powder under my eyes and it was perfect for 5 hours in my water line.
Overall verdict
My only concern is it is a little smudgy otherwise packaging, price and the quality is good. Pigmentation and texture is also top notch. I highly recommend this kajal if you like a smokey edgy look in your eyes.
Pros
Affordable, highly pigmented and has creamy texture.
Cons
The kajal smudges a but can be set with a little bit of brown eyeshadow in the water line.
