Hello beauties,
Good to be back to my she decodes beauty world…
Today I am back with another review which is a lip balm. Our lips tend to get dry regardless of the season and time. You need to consume water to keep your skin and lips nourished. However we always need a lip balm to instantly soften our lips.
I have been using Biotique bio berry plumping lip balm for couple of months, here I am to share my thoughts about this lip balm. Biotique botanicals brand has produced many good products in the Indian market. The products by the brand is reasonable and some of them are budget friendly.
Price
149 INR for 5gm of product
Packaging
Biotique bio berry plumping lip balm comes in a cute lip balm tube twist up packaging making it travel friendly. The cap also shuts tight initially came with a safety seal. So I have no issues with the packaging or the looks, its tiny enough fit into the purse.
Ingredients
Madhu -1%, vacha rhizome-1.5%, mulethi root-1%, almond oil-3%, surajmukhi tail-2%, kusumbi oil-3.5% erandi tail-12.5%, til tail-4.5%, bees wax-70.9%
The lip balm is a tinted lip balm and has all natural ingredients in it. It is a bright fushcia pink tinted lip balm which is medium pigmented. It has a mild fruity smell not too strong.
On the hands I can able to see the pink color in the first swatch. But on the lips you need to apply couple of times to get the pink color. The texture is more on the waxy side like a regular lipstick. I personally like the color of this lip balm which is a very bright pink. It is suitable for medium to fair skin beauties. It has a light glossy finish but packed with a lot of pigments.
It keeps the lips moisturized for 6 to 7 hours and the tint lasts for 5 hours in my lips without eating anything oily. Considering it having therapeutic properties my lips were moisturized for a longer period but it did not help me with my lip pigmentation. My lips are medium dark lips so I had to apply the lip balm 4 times to get the pink color tint on my lips.
Pros
Ayurvedic ingredients added.
Dermatologically tested for safety.
No preservatives.
Cons
No spf
Will I repurchase?
Definitely not for the summers as my lips need spf.
I hope this review was helpful.
See y'all with another post soon.
With love Vini..
