Hey guys,
I hope you are all doing well. I had purchased a new lip balm after the previous Maybelline lip balm I was using got over. I really wanted some lip balm product that is free of harsh chemicals because I was very particular as I need to apply the lip balm near my lips. I usually have a tendency to eat lip balm unintentionally even while drinking water. So I wanted something that is a chemical-free and cruelty-free brand. I came across this brand in Amazon a few months back and I have been using this for a couple of months now. I am very pleased to share my thoughts about the product with you guys now.

The lip balm I have been using is TNW- The Natural Wash which is an Indian brand that has a wide range of skincare, haircare, and body care ayurvedic products. I did go through a few reviews in Amazon and went ahead to purchase this product just because it had all-natural ingredients. So I am very excited to review the product now. Especially when the product is Chemical-free and cruelty-free.
Packaging
The lip balm tin comes in a paper box that can be opened easily. The product is inside the small tin with rotating lid and also had a plastic lid to protect the spillage of the product near the opening incase the product melts. I have never used a lip balm that comes in a tin so far. This is my first time trying this lip balm in a tin. The packaging was sturdy but to pick the product one needs to use a small spatula and apply on the lips for better hygiene.
Product claims
The product claims to be an Ayurvedic formulation that has clinically proven WHO GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified, dermatologically tested and GMP certified by the department of Ayush. The brand also claims that the lip balm is paraben-free and it is organic.
Benefits:
TNW's Beetroot lip balm is made with the richness of many nutritious vitamins and beetroot oil, providing the appropriate nourishment to the lips. It rejuvenates the lips giving it the natural softness, glitter, and shine.
Price
5g or 0.178oz for 208 INR.
Ingredients
Shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, honey, beetroot extract, carrot seed oil, licorice, glycerin, apricot oil, vitamin E.
Texture and smell
The product has a waxy texture and can be very heavy on the lips. The product has a wine color but glides on the lips transparent. The product has a sweet fruit smell.
My experience
I was very excited to try this product as it is free of chemicals. The product is quite waxy to it felt heavy on my lips so a little product goes a long way. The product has decent longevity for about 5 to 6 hours. It moisturizes the lips quite well and does not have any glitter in it. For some people, who hate fruit or sweet smell might feel uncomfortable. Other than the smell and the packaging everything for good with the product. I would recommend reapplication every 5 to 6 hours. I have dry lips and this lip balm moisturizes my lips decently. This lip balm does not withstand oily food or drinks. It combines with the food on our lips and disappears soon after heavy food.
Pros
Chemical-free.
Decent performance.
Cons
Not budget-friendly.
Quite heavy on the lips if applied generously.
Fruity smell.
Will I repurchase?
I would definitely look around for chemical-free products that come in a tube form instead of a tin.
That is all for the review guys. I hope the review was helpful for all of you guys. See you all in my next article.
