Homemade easy face pack to brighten dull skin

Let us get into our homemade face pack which I use almost every single week for bright complexion and could easily forget about face creams and powders. The trick is prepping your skin for the mask to work its way into your skin.
Step 1: Cetm routine: the day before the mask day I prep my skin with proper CETM routine. Always make sure the products I am using have minimal chemicals that do not affect my skin. Use a mild cleanser that does not strip off any oils from my face. Here is the link for the face wash cleanser and scrub I use.
Step 2: Shave it: I highly recommend shaving your face once every month to get rid of tiny dead skin cells and facial hair which might be blocking your bright skin. You could totally skip this step if you are not comfortable doing it. I prefer traditional razors over face shaving razors as I am extremely concerned about getting my skin burned. I use coconut oil before shaving for the smooth shave. after shaving, I use a mild cleanser to cleanse my face and also apply moisturizer to my face. I do all this at night so that my face will be ready for the brightening mask the next day.
step 3: mask: Always start with a clean face so that one teaspoon besan flour or chickpea flour, one teaspoon sandalwood powder (optional), half teaspoon honey, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and rose water to mix everything well into a fine paste. Apply the paste all over your face leaving under-eye circles. the neck is a neglected area when it comes to skincare, apply the mask to your neck also. Leave the mask for 15 minutes to dry and feel free to do any task of your choice, the mask works its magic on your face. After 15 minutes gently scrub your face so that mask will also gently exfoliates your skin. Do not scrub more than 15 seconds. Now wash your face using cold water, this will close all the pores in your face.
However, I recommend doing a patch test in your hand before trying this mask on your face. That is all for today's post guys, I hope the post was helpful for you guys. See you all in my next post guys.
