Aroma magic neem and tea tree face wash review

I am back with another review today, it is an essential for every woman to have a proper skincare routine. I started having good skincare routine once in every week when I was in my early twenties. I was switching to many face washes by multiple brands and was looking for paraben and Sodium Laureth Sulphate face wash free face wash.

Recently stumbled upon this new neem and tea tree face wash from aroma magic by Blossom Kochhar. This face wash claims to be acne control and oil balancing face wash.

I am using this face wash for couple of months now and I thought I would share my thoughts on this product with you guys.

Skin type : 

I have combination skin. Oily in my T zone area and dry around my cheeks.

Packaging

It comes in a cute green box and the product is in plastic inverted tube package and shuts very well to prevent any leakage. I must say the packaging is top notch for a affordable face wash. The product is available in two sizes and I ordered 100 ml of product which I personally feel is not travel friendly and is little bulky for travel. You can carry the face wash in another travel friendly container.  I carry the face wash in my Dabur gulabari rose water bottle which is a very small size container.

Price

 160 INR for 100 ml of product.

Ingredients

Aqua, Lauryl Glucoside, Gyceral Oleate, Melaleuca Alterifolia oil, Azadirachta Indica extract, fruit derived beta carotene, Hysroxypropyltrimonium honey, Lavandula Angustifolia oil and citrus Medica Limonum extract.

Caution

Sunscreen essential. Avoid use on dry, sensitive skin.

Product claims

I am 100% free of paraben, soap, alcohol, artificial colouring and fragrance. I cure acne with my neem and rose extracts. I help prevent blackheads and soothe skin irritations with my blend of tea tree and lavender essential oils. The vitamins in me lighten scars, blemishes and improve skin tone.

Consistency

The face wash is in mild green color. It has slightly thick gel consistency which is ideal for oily skin types. It does lather well while washing face. I felt gentle while washing face and it really did a good job removing all the dirt.

Smell

It has mild tea tree oil smell (I use tea tree oil frequently) which is not overpowering.

Ideal for:

The product claims to be acne control and oil balancing. Hence product suits for oily to combination skin types.

My experience

It is really gentle on my face and did well in removing dirt from my face. You will find mild smell of tea tree oil while washing your face with this product. It removes oil and dirt from my face in the first wash.
As I have combination skin it performed well for me during summers but during winters I felt it is a little drying around my mouth as I have very dry areas there.

During summers it was a perfect face wash for me, I really felt happy with how my skin felt after wash. In winters I added more water while washing my face. I diluted the face wash in a spoon of water amd started washing my face and it was perfect. I did not feel too dry around my mouth. A little disclaimer here, this trick worked for me very well particularly for my skin. I don’t know if this will work for others.

You might need to use extra water to wash the product from your face.

Pros

Pocket friendly.
Suits oily and combination skin types.
Has neem and tea tree oil extracts.
Free of soap, paraben and alcohol.

Cons

100 ml product package is not travel friendly. 50 ml package might be good for travel.
