ADS pro photo finish lip liner Review

I had received a lot of love from you guys for my previous post so again I am back with the products from the same brands today. I could not get these online but from Chennai so it took me some time guys.

Price : 30 INR for 1.8g of product

Shade : L25 Intense Fushcia , L32 French Red.

Packaging

These budget lip pencils has a black body and also comes with a plastic cover hugging the pencil. You can see the color in both the ends for reference. The shade name of the pencil is written in lower end. The pencil cap also has jumbo color coded plastic which can be opened.

There is a sharpener in the cap which can be used to sharpen the pencil so you don’t need to bother buying sharpener for this lip pencil. I have seen most of the ADS lip pencils come with a sharpener which is cool.

How to use

 Remember prepping your lips before the application on lip liner or any matte finish lip product. I had  gently exfoliated my lips and had applied lip balm and let it sit on my lips for about one minute. Then you can use tissue paper to blot it out or you can kiss at the back of your wrist like I did to take any extra product from your lips.

Start lining your upper lips from center till the end and follow the same for the lower lips. You can fill in your lips with the same color or you can use any lipstick with similar shade.

Consistency and formula

I was surprised with the creamy consistency of this lip liner which gives matte finish. I applied these liners without lipstick and these stayed on my lips for hours. They fade after hours leaving a slight tint.

Smell

Has a mild petro chemical smell which is not over powering.

Pigmentation

I am impressed with the rich pigmentation of these lip liners. Each color pigments are closely packed and glides with rich color in the swatches.

My experience

I really liked the creamy smooth texture of these lip liners and the rich pigmentation these pencils offer. They are quite long lasting. The color lasted for about 3 hours without fading. After some fading these leave a slight tint which is not uneven. These does not survive any oily food consumption.

If you have pigmented lips like me then you might need to apply a layer of similar shade lipstick. It gives pure matte finish and is non sticky. It feel comfortable on the lips, I did not feel any tugging while applying lip liner. It is not transfer proof.

SHADES

L 25, Intense Fushcia

It is a beautiful fushcia color and I love wearing this lip color for occasions. It is a perfect festive color which will be perfect with vibrant Indian ethnic outfits.

L 32, French Red

I am a big fan of red lips, they are nice for summers, festive seasons and for any cocktail look. French red lip color is one such lip color which will suit all skin tones. It is a blue toned red lip pencil.

Pros

Affordable.
Pigmented.
Smooth and creamy.
Matte.
Quite long lasting.

Cons

Not available everywhere.
