Hello beauties,
I am back with another review today. BB creams and CC creams have become best friends for college and office going girls because of their lightweight formula. Foundations makes you feel conscious that you have makeup on and is heavy on the summers. BB creams are lightweight and also evens out the skin tone hiding pigmentation and redness in your skin. There are many BB creams and CC creams available in the market, one such product is Ponds white beauty BB+ cream.
Price
160 INR for 18g of product.
Ingredients
Water, cyclopentasiloxane, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, niacinamide, glycerin, dimethicone crosspolymer, potassium chloride, PEG-10 dimethicone,, dicaprylyl, carbonate, magnesium sulphate, triethoxycaprylysilane, disteardimonium hectorite, stearic acid, palmitic acid, cholesterol, bisabolol, perfume, DMDM hydantoin, dimethicone, sucrose distearate, allanton, tocopheryl, acetate, disodium EDTA, butylene glycol, BHT, iodopropynyl, butylcarbamate, zingiber officinale (ginger) root extract, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499.
Packaging
Ponds white beauty BB+ cream comes in a long tube packaging with long nozzle. There is no chance for leakage and is travel friendly. You can go for smaller one (9g) if you are travelling.
Smell and consistency
It smells like fairness creams but not too strong (in the package it is mentioned as fairness cream). The smell disappears after application and does not linger. The consistency is quite creamy.
My experience with Ponds white beauty bb+ cream
The cream gives to sheer to medium coverage, you can build it up to medium coverage. Because it has creamy consistency it goes sheer and covers the redness in the skin. It evens the skin up to some extent. I have combination skin and this bb cream mattifies my skin moderately. But I feel in my T zone, especially under my eyes it feels oily even though its matte. If you have oily skin consider setting your face with matte compact powder. This shade is perfect for me in natural daylight. However in other lights it shows that it is slightly light for my skin tone. I personally felt this comment below if any of you felt the same.
It applies effortlessly even when you apply with your fingers. Spreads easily and blends into the skin very well. I tried applying it with a beauty sponge and with fingers, I got pretty much closer finish with both ways. If you have extremely pigmented skin then this might not work for you. This will work for fair to medium skin tones, not for dusky skin beauties.
Pros
Affordable.
Lightweight.
Travel friendly.
Cons
Only one shade available.
Will not suit oily skin if applied without setting powder or compact powder.
U hope this review helped you guys.. see y’all in my next post..
With love Vini…
