Its been months since I posted article very sorry for being inconsistent. Today I came up with a review of Khadi Natural aleo vera gel. Aleo vera gel has a tendency to soothe the skin and also a good moisturizer for skin and hair. I have been using Khadi natural aleo vera gel for couple of months now. I am going to share my thoughts about this product with you guys.
Khadi Natural brand is a very well known herbal brand in India. Their sls and paraben free shampoos are always a hot sale in the market. I have tried their soaps range which was very gentle on my dry skin.
Price
180INR for 200gm of product.
Packaging
Khadi Natural aleo gel comes in a big bulky bottle packing which is basically you use your fingers or a tiny spoon to pick the product. The plastic bottle shuts tightly so thankfully there will be no leakage. I find it unhygienic when you have to use your fingers. It is not travel friendly also as the bottle is bulky and will accumulate lot of space while packing. I usually transfer the product in my 25ml Nivea soft moisturizer box for travelling.
Ingredients
Purified water, Aleo vera, cucumber extract, lemon peel extract, licorice, glycerine.
The aleo gel is quite runny and does not have any colour . The gel is not thick but slightly watery and glides in my hands. It has strong sandalwood smell. If you find the smell irritating or if you are a fan of mild smell products then you can skip this product. But once it gets absorbed into your skin the smell disappears. It gets absorbed into the skin in 10 to 15 seconds.
As it is mentioned there is no greasiness and moistirizes my skin very well.
My experience with Khadi aleo vera gel
I have a combination skin where my T zone gets oily and other parts of my face will be dry. As told in the description on the bottle it is suitable for oily skin types. But it is not very moisturizing for dry areas around my face. I had to take extra product for dry parts on my face. It is suitable for combination to oily skin types in general. It has all natural ingredients which does not give any irritation to the skin.
It works good as a primer as makeup stays on my face for 3 to 4 hours even on summers. Have used as a mask overnight and my skin was bright and soft next day.
Pros
Made with natural ingredients and can be used as a overnight face mask by itself.
Moisturizing for face and suits perfectly for combination skin.
Cons
Not travel friendly.
For extra dry skin need extra product.
Packaging is not hygienic.
