Today I am going to review Me Now generation 2 true lips lip pencil which I had recently mentioned in my haul. I bought three colours pink nude, bright pink and a red colour. You can find these lip pencils in local shops, if you cant find one you can buy it from here. In the online shop these are priced for 40 bucks. Whereas I bought these for 20 bucks in Chennai - tnagar shop. Will mention the address of the shop in the end of this article.
The shade range has neutrals, pinks and reds from which I bought one color from each category. The pencils are numbered no names were found. I have 054, 055 and 057 with me right now. Lets get started with the review.
Packaging
The packaging reminds me of essence lip pencils because of its size. The names and details are written on the white body of the pencil. The cap of the pencil shows respective colors so that you can easily spot the color. I was pretty impressed with the packaging for the price.
Details
Provides exceptional lip make-up results. Gives a steady stroke to develop neatly- outlined lips. It is written made in china near the end of the pencil.
054 (pink neutral pencil)
It is an everyday lip color for college going girls. Considering it is a lip pencil if you have dry lips like me, it is very important to prep your lips before applying. It was so buttery, glides on your lips like a dream. It is pretty pigmented, you can get the color in one swipe. If you have no pigmentation or medium pigmentation in your lips this color can easily hide your pigments. You can use them alone or top them with lipstick or lip gloss of your choice. It will suit medium and fair skin tones. It stayed on my lips for 3 to 4 hours and faded while drinking and eating.
055 (red color)
It is a mild red color though the packaging represents deep red color. It is not very pigmented, even by multiple swipes you can not get exact color of the pencil if you have medium pigmented lips. The formula is smooth but being a dark color it is not packed with pigments. It is good for people with fair and medium skin tones. It has lower longevity out of all three which is up to 2 to 3 hours.
057(bright neon pink color)
Its a beautiful neon pink color which suits medium and fair skin tones. This color is medium pigmented and shows up even with medium pigmented lips. Formula is very smooth and this one you need to go for two to three swipes for full color on lips if wore alone. This bright pink color stayed on my lips for 3 to 4 hours and left a stain on my lips which stayed for couple of hours.

My final verdicts
I highly recommend these lip pencils if you are in a hunt for budget products. Out of all three 054 was my favourite. If you are a beginner in makeup these are definitely worth the try.
