Habits that changed my life

Hey guys,
I hope you guys doing well. Years ago I want to change myself and I wanted to change my routine which I was having. A couple of years ago I was having a lot of issues in my life. Back then I had started my blog and it was not doing well. I had self-esteem issues and also depression after delivering my baby. I had a few issues in my body so I was suffering mentally and physically. Even though they are minor issues the one that really made me sad was my depression. I went into more ups and downs in my life and thankfully I came across some people in my life who really changed the perspective I was having in my life. Little by little I started including these habits into my life after that there is no turning back. All these habits made a huge change in my life. The journey had really taught me so much in my life and I am grateful that I had achieved so much in my life. These habits have brought many changes in my life in a good way so I thought this would help someone and help them in some way. Some of the habits really take a long time in your life and some of the habits may be simple but it slowly shows the improvement that you need in your life. All these habits can be followed in your own pace and schedule but when you stick to these habits you can see your life-changing slowly.

Journaling my thoughts:

It was the first habit I included in my life. You just need paper and a pen or you can type in your mobile phones as well it depends on your convenience. You can start writing anything that comes in your mind good or bad. You don't have to really care about grammatical mistakes or spelling. While writing your thoughts it should mostly concentrate on how you feel at the moment especially if you are feeling low journal is the best way to relieve the thoughts bothering you at that moment. The journal can be writing about yourself or your feelings or your thoughts. For example " I feel very happy today because this happened" or " I feel sad today as this happened suddenly". You can have your own style and create your own way of writing as journaling has no rules to follow. So take your paper and pen or your mobile to write down all your thoughts to feel relieved. 

Prioritizing yourself: 

Prioritizing my health, my schedule, my routine, and my career has helped me grow as a person and it does not mean you are selfish. Prioritizing your life means you are respecting yourself and you are focussing on yourself. Focussing on yourself will help you grow as a person and every problem in your life will fall in the right places eventually. Prioritizing your eating habits and sleeping habits will make an enormous difference in your life. 

Making a to-do-list:

I had started making a to-do- list for all the things I need to accomplish in my day. Every single day night before going to bed I made sure that I planned the next day very well. This made me create a tiny system that I could do every day. It took only 5 minutes to plan my day and after planning I felt like I could have a good sleep. So whatever cluster I had in my mind got arranged properly in my to-do-list. I agree that in my initial days I was not finishing everything in my to-do- list but eventually, I was able to plan my time better and could accomplish more things in a day.

Waking up early:

After a couple of days doing my to-do-list every single day I started to include things that I like to do, things I am passionate about in my list. So this convinced my brain to get up early without snoozing the alarm. I am very glad that I wake up early every single day because I can do more fun stuff and passionate stuff which I had no time before when I was waking up late. Early morning gives you that feel-good energy you need in your life and your mind starts feeling fresh every day as you accomplish a lot of things in your day. It is a good time to meditate to exercise to have a cup of coffee and just grasp in the early morning energy. It is best to avoid any screen time or social media in the early hours of your morning.

Self-care habits:

Self-care habits can be included in the first 30 minutes to 1 hour of your early morning time as your body and mind will be ready to take in all the care that you show for them. There are tons of self-care habits you can include such as reading your favorite book, meditation, working out, skincare, haircare, a cup fo your favorite drink or anything you love to do and passionate about. You can choose any habits of your choice and include in your life to see more changes in your mood. Everything in your life starts within you when you take good care of your body and soul you will feel more relaxed, power-packed and calm for the whole day.

Loving myself:

Everything around you people, situations and everything that happens around you depends on your response to them. For a happy life, you need to accept all your flaws and strength and start loving yourself and give yourself all the pamper your body and soul needs. Focus on yourself and closely watch over the needs of your body and soul. You are enough, your flaws and your strength form your unique personality which you have to take good care.

Grateful journal:

Every day feeling grateful for the things you have in your life, the best way to do is by writing a gratitude journal every morning. Have a separate doted journal to write what you are grateful for every single day. Try to grab three points every morning you can feel the change in your life eventually. When you start with gratitude you can see boundless changes in your day.
