My everyday makeup essentials for work using budget products

Hello everyone.
Hope you all are doing well. In this article, I am going to mention my everyday makeup essentials. Being a working woman and a mother I have to look presentable for work daily. I use minimal makeup products that work best for my skin and face. I don’t carry any of my makeup items to my workplace for touch up. It is a very light everyday makeup which doesn’t take much time. I use all the basic things you will need in any makeup routine. I don’t use foundation as I personally don’t like layering my skin with more products for work which in turn damages my skin in the long run.
I wash my face with a mild cleanser which is oil free. Always use a mild cleanser o daily basis that doesn’t make your skin dry. I then use an oil-free moisturizer on my skin. I also apply sunscreen before going to the makeup part of my routine.

Compact powder:
Lakme Absolute Perfect Radiance skin lightening compact: Golden Medium
It is a lightweight compact which gives sheer to medium coverage for my skin. As my skin has blemishes and discoloration I prefer to use this compact than any other compact. People with skin discoloration might need a sheer to medium coverage compact if they don’t use any foundation.
It also has SPF 23 UVA/UVB protection which is great as well. I highly recommend this compact for college going girls and office working women who are starting with makeup. I apply the powder using a round fluffy brush I bought in Saravana stores in Chennai.

Eyebrow pencil:
Miss Claire waterproof eyebrow pencil: 02 Dark Brown
As I don’t have dense eyebrow hair I use eyebrow pencil on a daily basis. I would switch to eyebrow powder for important occasions. I also set my brows with a little bit of lip balm, it helps hold my unruly brows for a long time. The brow pencil comes with a small brush which helps comb my brows to the desired direction.
Eyeliner:
Lakme insta-liner:
I have been using this eyeliner for a long time since this is one of my favorite. It is not a good eyeliner for beginners. Beginners might go for felt tip eyeliner instead of a normal eyeliner brush. I usually draw a normal line or a small winged liner for my work.
Mascara:
Lakme Eyeconic curling mascara
I curl my lashes using Vega eyelash curler which I have been using for years. Then I apply a mild coat of mascara on my upper eyelids. I don’t coat my lower lashes with mascara since I don’t want loud eyes.

Lipstick:
Essence on the catwalk lipstick
Before applying lipstick I would apply a thin coat of lip balm while I am applying my moisturizer. I prefer using matte or creamy lipstick. I generally go for Revlon matte balm sultry lipstick or Essence on the catwalk lipstick. These two are my current favorite lipsticks.

I personally use these products for my daily makeup routine; if you want you can shuffle the products according to your preference or with the products which work best for you.
Thank you for visiting the article.
